Family Fun Day right around the corner (Saturday, 2 April 2016)

Dear Faculty and Staff –

If you have been at SSIS for even a couple of years, you are aware of the change we made to all-school PTA activities, asking particular communities to take the lead in planning and organization all-school events. This has resulted in some outstanding spectaculars. We’ve seen amazing family fun days, scrumptious international food fairs and faculty luncheons, table-ladened book drives and adult social outings, all sponsored by our amazing parents. It’s very important as a School that we, as faculty and admins, support these efforts which help us to build the sense of community that is such a big part of SSIS.

On Saturday, 2 April 2016, we will host our Spring Family Fun Day, organized by our Vietnamese community. It promises to be an afternoon (2:30 pm – 5:00 pm) of fun, food, music, and activities. It means the world to your students and parents when you show your appreciation all the hard work they put into community events and we hope to see all of you here.
