Team Wellness- Psychological Safety for Wellness and Innovation
|The folks at Six Seconds, the EQ network for promoting emotional intelligence, posted an article on how Google did a research study to determine the main factors to support psychological safety for their teams. The goal of their effort was to promote wellness and innovation within their teams. The results came down to two factors. The teams with high psychological safety exhibited a high degree of comfort in “conversational turn-taking and ostentatious listening”.
The author goes on to list five strategies to promote psychological safety for teams. The article is definitely worth a read as we work together to promote individual and team wellness.
