Please support our community at Family Fun Day on Saturday

Dear Faculty and Staff,

I hope that you had an enjoyable weekend! As I meet with new teachers for their individual meetings, one of the features of SSIS that is regularly appreciated is the community feel of the school.  We are blessed with a warm, caring, and welcoming community and we all need to work together to continue that family-like atmosphere.

To this end, on Saturday  from 10:30  am – 2:30 pm, the PTA will host their annual Family Fun Day. This is a great time to come out and meet our families while enjoying a variety of activities, listening to great student music, and savoring delicious food. It is also a perfect opportunity to give back to our PTA who give so generously of their time in supporting countless school initiatives.

Although HS students lead most of the Family Fun Day activities, the PTA needs your help. You can do this by volunteering for a shift  or making a dessert donation. It is important to our school, that you support this event as we work together on building Community. Whether you volunteer or not, I hope that everyone will attend for an hour or so.

I wish you all a productive and rewarding week of teaching, learning, and for MS safe and enjoyable Week Without Walls adventures! I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
