Health Tips – Safe Haven

There is no doubt that living under the threat of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is very stressful for all of us. It is important to have a place where you can completely relax and not think about the virus. For most of us that is our home.

When I go home I have a few routines that help me to relax and not worry about being contaminated.

  1. Wash my hands
  2. Clean my phone (in case I have laid it somewhere not clean, or didn’t wash my hands well at some point during the day)
  3. Also clean water bottle, eyeglasses, ID tag, etc
  4. Take a shower (emotional and well as cleansing)
  5. Clean the door handles to my apartment
  6. Clean common places that we touch (dining table, fridge door, bathroom faucet)
  7. Prepare food at home or eat at home. Wash dishes well.
