Coronavirus Update: Directive from the Vietnamese Government to extended closure until March 8th

Dear Faculty and Staff,

We have just been directed by the HCMC’s People’s Committee in Official Letter No. 708  to extend our temporary school closure until March 8th for all students. Although this may not have been the outcome we were hoping for, we must continue to do our utmost to deliver a high-quality curriculum to our students through Virtual School. Faculty and staff should continue to report to school to support our students’ online learning, and students will not be allowed on campus during this time.

I know that we were all very much looking forward to having the students back at school with us, but we must respect the need for taking all possible precautionary measures for our community’s safety.

Please continue to support each other in the many wonderful ways that you have been doing already, and please continue the great support that you have shown our students and our community throughout this challenging situation.

Once again, I appreciate your patience and support in this trying time. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, or your principals, if you have any questions or concerns.
