Updates from the AAIE Conference & SSIS Alumni Gathering

Dear Faculty & Staff, 

I hope the first days back at school after the Tết holiday are going smoothly! Dan Kerr, Chad McGlartlin, and I are representing SSIS at the AAIE Conference in Washington, D.C., where key administrators from international schools around the world are gathered to discuss important issues in education. So far, the conference has featured excellent presentations and discussions on topics such as AI, student well-being, school governance, and leadership. As expected, there are also conversations about new U.S. governmental regulations and their potential impact on international schools. I am very grateful to be on the Board of AAIE, and although these days are busy, they are very fulfilling. 

On Friday last, Gerry and I hosted an alumni gathering in New York City. It was wonderful to catch up with our Dragons and to gain insights into their lives after SSIS. They are wonderful young people and proud SSIS alumni. 

I hope that the remainder of the week goes very smoothly. Thank you for everything that you do. I look forward to catching up with all of you on Monday.
