Nov. 28 – Dec. 2
Good Morning Everyone!
Shouts-outs are in order for: |
Nuts & Bolts:
Secret Santa Anyone? Last year there was a voluntary gift exchange during December. 48 people participated. If you are interested in helping to lead this event this year (Which involves sending out a few emails and a Google Doc), please let me know.
Core Value Reflective Plans: Thank you for all of the valuable feedback you gave on our Core Value Reflective Plans (Also in The Navigator). We used your feedback to make the plans even better. We have a few minor changes to go, but please feel free to begin using these now. There is no expectation for you to use these plans every time you interact with a child on their behavior. Rather, use them as needed and certainly in the case where you will be contacting the parents. Keep signed copies for future reference during parent meetings.
Student Teacher on Campus: Ryan Dalton will be working in Erin’s room Wednesdays and Fridays for the rest of the semester. Please welcome him if you see him on campus.
Booked for meetings that keep you away from students for more than 1/2 day? It was brought to my attention that this happened to at least one of you last week. This was unintentional. Should this happen again, please work to reschedule the meeting or contact me to request a full-day sub for your classroom. We are counting on you to take the lead as you may be the only aware when you are overbooked.
Report Cards: As you finish your reports, please send an email to Dan and me and cc Thuy so we know that they are ready for us to read and print. Please remember to edit all reports with your team before submitting. If you will be coming into school next weekend to work on reports, please let me know. If there is enough interest, we can arrange to have the air conditioning turned on.
Wishing you all an exemplary week! Roxanne
