Feb.27 – March 3

unnamedShouts-outs are in order for:
•    Regina for coordinating many integrated learning experiences with our visiting eco-artist
•    Shelley, Karen R., and Greg for supporting our ES track & field athletes
•    G5 Teachers & TAs for leading G5 students through  a successful Hackathon
•    Karen U. & Alli for assembling the playground safety slide show
•    Everyone who has supported Lucinda w/duties, food, and visits.
       She is very appreciative!

Nuts & Bolts:

ES Playground Expectations: Thank you for bringing your classes and yourselves to the Playground Safety presentation last week and for reinforcing the expectations during recess times. There will be make up session scheduled next week for any teachers, TAs and/or students who missed it.

Cafeteria Expectations: Later this week, a link for a short video on cafeteria expectations will be shared.  It is geared toward students G1-G5.  We are asking all teachers, TAs, and coaches to watch as well so that we have a common understanding for cafeteria behaviour.

Teacher Observations: They will continue over the next few weeks with a focus on classroom environment. While feedback is given via an electronic feedback form, we are always available to meet in person as well. We know drop in visits only capture a snapshot of all that you do professionally and with your students.

Wishing everyone a great week. – Roxanne
