Dear ES Team,

We appreciate the time, energy, and effort you have put forth into making the start of this year so seamless and successful. It’s been a busy and event-filled week (Curriculum Night, Super Unit launches, and our first Student Assembly) and there is an abundance of positive energy and enthusiasm on our campus– thanks to you!

  • From Lara:  Thank you for your help reminding students who turned in their Summer Reading Bingo forms about the reading celebration on Monday:

  • We are beginning to put yearbook picture folders together, please remember to book our school photographer if you have a special event.

Other Information:

  • Please review the ES Evacuation Plan Procedures
  • If you do not have room parents, please send out one more request this week.  Please send names and emails to me.  We will be having an orientation meeting next week.
  • Dan, Dave C., Evelyn, and Kattina out of office (August 24-28)
  • Saigon International Teacher’s Social, August 25– Come out and meet your international school teaching colleagues from around HCMC.  We connected D2 and D7 faculty last spring and now we are connecting you all. This takes place at Saigon Outcast in D2 on Saturday, August 25 from 3-6pm.  Please RSVP here so we can get an idea for numbers and transportation.
