Dear Colleagues,

This week was a busy one– and a highlight was definitely our Student Assemblies– thank you Alan and our Drama and Music departments!  It was also great to see so many families participate in our Moon Festival Lantern Making event this afternoon– thanks to Liz for your help with our ES PTA!

There has been a lot of “energy” during both transition times (ie: entering the building in the morning) and recess.  Please spend some time next week discussing our Core Values and behavioral expectations with your students– sometimes gentle and intentional conversations help everyone to recalibrate!:)

Reminders:

• In order to ensure our students are safe and well supervised, if you are going to be late for a duty, please ask for help.  
• If you are absent and don’t have a sub, but have a duty, please send an email asking for coverage.

Class Meeting Topics:

• Review dress code– please remind students that only SSIS sweaters and sweatshirts (purchased at the school store) may be worn during the school day!

Announcements:

• Please sign up to help during Family Fun Day.
• Red invoice change of policy: a red receipt is needed for ALL transactions (even under 200,000VND
• We have updated and clarified the lunch/recess transition responsibilities in the navigator.
• Also, students who work in the Makerspace during recess will be sent to the atrium area to line- up with their class.
• We are beginning to put yearbook picture folders together, please remember to book our school photographer if you have a special event.
