December 3-7
Self care is not selfish.
You cannot serve from an empty vessel.

Dear ES Team,
The holidays are getting closer and the weeks are getting busier– but remember, tis the season to be jolly!:) . It’s also the season to remember to take care of yourself (and practice mindfulness)– putting things in perspective and enjoying the rhythm of life will help us all enjoy our daily gifts when life seems demanding.
There are lots of planning meetings and learning celebrations happening these next two weeks. We will busy– but we have the opportunity to embrace the great work that is being done– and find joy in this fun and festive season! Next Friday our Student Leaders have organized a Dragon Fun Friendship Night (aka Movie Night). We have some HS students helping, but would appreciate some other adult volunteers– please let me know if you are willing to help any time between 5:00-8:00pm. I am attaching (in email) a flyer that one of our student leaders created. We are hoping that all the classroom teachers can send this home via SeeSaw or email. The PTA is also sponsoring a Holiday Bazaar and tree lighting after school on Friday– what a great way to get everyone excited about the upcoming holidays– and approaching break!:)
Also, congratulations to Nikki and Raye for incredibly successful music performances this past week! Well done!
Enjoy the weekend!
Cheers,
Donna
