Dear Colleagues,

We have a short, but busy week on the horizon!

Traditionally, SSIS has provided Lì xì (Lucky Money) to ALL staff during Tet.  Teachers usually give lucky money and/or a more personal gift (plant, gift card, chocolate, etc) to their TA’s.   In the past teachers also contributed money (50-200 vnd) for the cleaners and gardeners. Here is a list of cleaners for each floor) and gardeners.  Ms. Thuy and Ms. Truc have envelopes for contributions—one for cleaners and one for gardeners.  Next Thursday after school the we will gather in the staff room and present “Lucky Money” red envelopes to our valued support group!

Reminders:

  • Please let Ms. Thuy know if you have special grade level events (field trips, launches, celebrations).  We would like to add these to our ES calendar.

Announcements:

  • Look to take a listen to Tan’s shifted practice on the Edtech Co-Op podcast. Look to contact David or Dave if you would like to join them on the podcast.
  • In order to provide a designated walkway between buildings A and B, we painted yellow lines.  Please remind your students not to sit or put their lunches, water bottles, and other items in the center of these lines.  Thank you Kristin for the great idea!!
  • Please remember to book our school photographer if you have a special event.
