December is here! It’s hard to believe. Just a few more weeks before some well deserved rest. We have lots to look forward to: an assembly, music concerts, secret santa week, and the excitement that the month of December brings. Let’s find something joyful in each day!

Grade 1 visited a real weather station. What an authentic experience!

Visitor Registration: All visitors to the SSIS campus must be pre-registered. Here is the Visitor Registration Procedures. The host in the Visitor Pre-Registration Form is listed for Dan Keller, Melanie Sylvester, Binh Le, David Carpenter, Jacob Humes, Minh Bui and Thuy Nguyen. The teachers are welcome to ask the following people to help pre-register any parent visitors:
For large groups (such as whole class, or grade level) such as a concert, Mr. Binh Le can help arrange.
For individual meetings with parents, Minh Bui and Thuy Nguyen can help arrange.
We hope this makes things convenient for our teachers.

ES Holiday Assembly: Hi all! Alan is working hard to coordinate this and he really needs some help. If you have a fun and festive idea that your class or grade level or specialist area, could contribute, please sign up on this form. Thanks so much!

TA PD Slideshows: A number of teachers have requested for the PD that the TAs are doing with Dan and I to be shared. We will now be adding the slideshows to the Google Calendar invites so that everyone can access these.

Teacher – Teaching Assistant Feedback Forms: These are due this on Tuesday. Thanks to everyone who has submitted them so far. Follow up meetings with Mel and TAs have begun.
