Chuc Munh Nam Moi!
The gracious water buffalo was naive when he agreed to help the rat and the cat across the river. He would have been first on the zodiac calendar if he decided to say no, but he couldn’t. Thus he lost 1st place in the zodiac list because he was betrayed by the rat. Legend has it that while crossing the river the rat pushed the cat overboard when they neared land. The rat made a more devious move when he jumped off the head of the buffalo when they neared the finish line and crossed first.
We wish you all a year of “grace and kindness.”
Have a wonderful Tet Break everyone! You deserve it! What an INCREDIBLE job you have done getting Virtual Started this time around. WOW! THANK-YOU!

Virtual School Wellness For Students Idea:
One approach for ES teachers could be to design a plan through a lesson guiding the students to brainstorm on the topic of what it means to be well during virtual school. You could guide your students to come up with wellness categories as in fitness, diet, etc. to then list them in your wellness template. An inquiry and self-directed approach could then have the students drawing on their current understanding of each category to then research to find out more. The next step could be to set goals and implement action plans to reach the goals. Students could then pair up to have wellness buddies to support each other which connects to the R in PERMAH of having a buddy during virtual school.
Here is a draft for an elementary virtual school wellness plan to get you started.
