The hard work of teaching and learning is evident in ll classrooms. As you transition from expectation, procedures and routines it is evident that learning is happening at a rapid pace because of the all the noise we hear. These photos represent just a fraction of the amazing student centered work from this week. Students were busy working together to program robots, exploring shapes in art and, and discussing celebrations and challenges. This is the foundational experience to ensure all students understand and know what to do. Well done ES

Please be sure to take attendance by name. We are still working on improving our processes. Taking attendance by name will help with this.

EVALUATIONS

Evaluations for new teachers will conclude this week. Please do not change a thing.

ROOM PARENTS

The PTA has reached out tot he room parents who have signed up. The PTA has 2 requests

Please fill out this doc to better help them communicate expectations and roles to parents.
If you have not yet reached out to parents in your class to sign up to be a room parent please do so. I will email those of you who still don’t have room parents.

25th Anniversary Ideas

The theme for the 25th anniversary of the school revolves around mangrove trees. Please look at this Jamboard for ideas that have already been shared. Please share any ideas you have with Melanie or Edward so we can pass them along.
