May 7th – May 11th

Spring is here and CTP testing is over and AP/IB exams are wrapping up. Now is a great time of year to get out of your comfort zone and try something you’ve been thinking about doing. Try and find a strategy or teaching method you’d like to try. We’ve been to PD’s, attended PD’s provided PD’s and now is a great time to commit to trying something. Invite a colleague, coach, coordinator or administrator to come in and watch. (I promise we don’t bite.) Or if you are not sure what to try, check out this weeks mini PD opportunities below and see if something catches your fancy. Just try something new. Spring into it and let us know how it goes. And of course we always here to help and support you. If you want to observe first, let us know and we’d be happy to jump in and model.

LUNCH AWARENESS

Teachers have been noticing more and more students opting to not eat anything at lunch or just eating some bread. Other students are trying to sneak out to play again rather than eat. Please remind all students about the importance of eating and the need to slow down and replenish their energy. If you run into any issues please let me know.
