September 11th – 15th

School is truly in session when ASAs start, teams begin to travel, teachers begin attending professional development opportunities, and those opportunities come to our school. The school is buzzing with excitement and growth. Teachers are seizing professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching strategies. These events bring valuable knowledge and expertise to our staff, enriching the learning experiences for our students. ASAs provide a platform for students to explore their passions and develop new skills outside the classroom. Sports teams foster teamwork and resilience while representing our school in friendly competition. By embracing these opportunities, our school community thrives, creating a dynamic and nurturing environment for all. Together, we are celebrate the journey of continuous learning and achievement. Thank you for continuing your professional and personal growth and for providing opportunities for our students to explore their passions.

Playground committee

We are creating a playground committee. The role of the committee will be to propose 1 or 2 options for a new ES playground. This includes both the EC area and the main ES playground. Please email me directly if you want to participate in this opportunity.

Athletics Announcements

Help needed for WWW on Sept. 22nd – Announcement from a HS student.

For the upcoming Week Without Walls Workshop event, I plan to do a workshop related to creating and managing activities with children. For one hour (10:30 – 11:30), we will try to create activities for children to play before preferably inviting them over and test out whether they like these activities. In this workshop, I want to try to have HS students experience what Elementary teachers usually do to keep children entertained and possibly learn something from the experience. In addition, I want them to feel the importance of listening to whatever children have to say as well as other qualities that a teacher needs to have. For this workshop, it would be nice if the ES could send over a class of elementary kids along with their teacher during the 10:30 – 11:30 session. I’m still unaware of the ES schedule so I can move the session later if needed.Hope to hear from you soon.

If you are willing to help this student and their project please let me know and I will connect you.
