March 11th – 15th

Over the past three weeks, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to accompany our 5th graders on their Week Without Walls (WWW) adventure, join some of our high school students for a swim meet, and most recently, support middle and elementary school students at another swim competition. Each journey offered unique joys and excitement. However, a consistent theme I’ve observed across all age groups is the embodiment of our core values.

Our students displayed a delightful mix of humor, friendliness, competitiveness, goofiness, and silliness, alongside a profound respect for everyone they encountered. They showed a keen interest in self-improvement and a commitment to their personal goals. Curiosity drove them to learn about new places, and they managed their lives with a sense of balance, whether through sports or other activities. Through the lens of sport, they excelled as outstanding teammates, athletes, and competitors.

It’s worth noting that nearly all the students I traveled with began their journey in elementary school with you. I merely reaped the benefits of your hard work with them.

In the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, we sometimes forget to reflect on the impact we’ve had on our past students. I encourage you to take a moment this week to reach out to a former student from any division to see how they’re doing. Their responses might not surprise you, but they will certainly make you proud, reminding you of the significant role you’ve played in their lives.

ES DRAGON SHOW

Episode 25

ASSEMBLY

Our assembly will begin at 8:45 on Tuesday. We will dismiss to recess. We may be a few minutes late to recess as the assembly is packed with lots of stuff.

Dismissing students

We have had an increasing number of students arriving at the gym at 2:55 for their after-school sports. Students have plenty of time to get to any activity they have after school. If they arrive early they are unattended during that time. Please be sure to release students at 3:00 PM or after.

DUTY

Please remember to be on time to your duty, and be actively walking around while on duty. Additionally, please limit the use of technology while you are on duty. We can’t watch our screens and students at the same time.
