February 17th – 21st

As we move through February, our school continues to flourish both inside and outside the classroom. This past week, our Grade 4 students returned from their Week Without Walls experience, full of stories, discoveries, and newfound confidence. Whether it was collaborating, or simply learning to live alongside their peers for a few days, they blossomed in ways that only happen when we step outside our comfort zones.

Now, it’s Grade 5’s turn! As they prepare for their own adventure this week, the excitement is building. There’s something special about these experiences—the independence, the teamwork, and the memories that last long after the trip ends. Don’t be surprised if they come home with a mix of anticipation and nervous energy. Encourage them, reassure them, and remind them that growth happens in new and unfamiliar spaces.

Nurturing Growth at Home

We’re also excited to welcome Meghan Holstrom to campus this week, focusing on partnering with parents to support student learning in math. Just as students need strong roots at school, they thrive when there’s a strong connection between home and classroom. These sessions will offer valuable insights, practical strategies, and opportunities to reflect on how we can work together to cultivate confident, capable learners.

As always, thank you for your partnership in this journey. Whether our students are exploring the world beyond our walls or deepening their learning at home, they continue to show us that growth comes in many forms.
