April 7th – 11th
Welcome Back! I hope your (slightly shorter) Spring Break gave you a chance to rest, recharge, and find some joyful moments along the way. As we step back into our classrooms, let’s carry with us that fresh energy and optimism that spring always seems to bring.
This return isn’t just about picking up where we left off. It’s a new opportunity—to inspire, to connect, and to make a real impact. The break gave us time to pause and reflect, and now we get to put fresh ideas into action.
Let’s dive into this next chapter with energy, heart, and a strong commitment to building a nurturing, inspiring space for every learner. Your passion and dedication are what make our school such a special place.
Here’s to kicking off the fourth quarter on a high note—full of growth, laughter, and memorable moments.
Welcome back, everyone!
#STEAMovate
Get ready for STEAMovate SSIS, an event that spotlights innovative projects where parents, teachers, and students come together to showcase, demonstrate, and test the latest innovations in learning at SSIS. From robotics, apps, cutting-edge technology, and scientific processes, this event is all about exploring how innovation is reshaping the way we teach and learn. You can expect hands-on experiences, interactive workshops, and plenty of opportunities to witness the future of education.
CTP Testing
The window is April 14 – 25, with make up on April 28-29 and May 5-7.
Grade level teams should complete the same test in the same window (i.e. All grade 3 teachers test Reading Comprehension on the same date at the same time.). This helps with EAL and LS coordination and tech support.
