May 15th – May 19th

We are 4 short and long weeks from the end of school. This time of year we always have one foot in this year and one foot in net year. We continue to place students in class creator for next year, while still working with our students this year. We are finalizing our master schedule for next year, while working in this years schedule for the next few weeks. May 7th – May 11th

Spring is here and CTP testing is over and AP/IB exams are wrapping up. Now is a great time of year to get out of your comfort zone and try something you’ve been thinking about doing. Try and find a strategy or teaching method you’d like to try. We’ve been to PD’s, attended PD’s provided PD’s and now is a great time to commit to trying something. May 1st – May 5th

The long weekend was a great way to welcome May. I hope you all had a chance to rest, recharge, and recover a bit. The short 2 day week give us a chance to remind students of expectations, routines and procedures as we prepare for the final push of the year. April 10th – 14th

. Last week ended reminding me that we never know what someone is really going through. As we get into the work of our Q4 Super Units and working with our students and collaborating with colleagues across our division and other divisions please keep this in mind. April 3rd – 7th

Friday and Saturday were truly a culmination of the partnership that we seek and want between our students, parents and school. It was so great to see students lead their parents in their learning journeys. From EC to grade 5, all students participated in showing their parents their successes. Saturday, at our screen on the green we had more than 50 parents, students and teachers come together to watch a movie and socialize. Our international week culminated in a wonderful International Day on Saturday. So many parents and students loved sharing their culture and traditions with everyone else. It truly was a reminder of the beauty that the international in our school name brings to a school community. This week as share our learning journeys we continue this sense of community. March 13th – March 17th

We hope you all had a chance to recharge and take care of you over this mini spring break. School years always ebb and flow. This time of year a break of any length comes at jus the right time. Kids and adults, alike are ready for a recharge before the big push to the end. The rest of the school year is often the most fun.
