As we bring the school year to a close, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication. May 29th – June 2nd

Thursday marked the beginning of the end. Our grade 2 buddies put on an amazing farewell celebration for our seniors. This was followed on Friday when our EC and KG had wonderful musical performances followed by amazing unit celebrations. Saturday some of us experienced the graduation of our class of 2023. 10 graduating students started in kindergarten. This week we continue to celebrate and look all the way ahead to SU 1, and what it will look like in August. May 22nd – May 26th

With 3 week sot go we can see the end in sight. While there is still a mountain of work to get done, now is the time to start thinking about our departing students and staff. Transitions and change affect everyone differently. You should expect unexpected behaviors. Remember to address it with compassion and care. We are 4 short and long weeks from the end of school. This time of year we always have one foot in this year and one foot in net year. We continue to place students in class creator for next year, while still working with our students this year. We are finalizing our master schedule for next year, while working in this years schedule for the next few weeks. Spring is here and CTP testing is over and AP/IB exams are wrapping up. Now is a great time of year to get out of your comfort zone and try something you’ve been thinking about doing. Try and find a strategy or teaching method you’d like to try. We’ve been to PD’s, attended PD’s provided PD’s and now is a great time to commit to trying something. . Last week ended reminding me that we never know what someone is really going through. As we get into the work of our Q4 Super Units and working with our students and collaborating with colleagues across our division and other divisions please keep this in mind.
