EAL and LS Student Evaluations
Please complete the EAL / LS Student Evaluations sent out by Amy and Stacy.  You will find the TEMPLATE here:  LS Evaluation ; EAL Evaluation folder

Please copy the template and add your last name to the title.  There are tabs on the TEMPLATE for 6-8th.   Amy and Stacy asked for these to be completed by Monday, May 11.

Student Council Elections
Please take time to encourage our young leaders to consider running for Student Council office.  Sometimes all it takes is a small word of encouragement to spark an interest in a student who might not otherwise see themselves as a leader.  Information about elections is on the morning announcements.  Elections will be on May 29 from 12:55-1:35 in the auditorium.

Cool Instruction / Assessment Tip of the Week
What does awesome look like?
“If your new initiative were to succeed beyond your wildest expectations, how would your students be different as scholars, citizens, and people?” asks Educational Leadership author Justin Reich. In a recent Inservice post, Reich expands upon his May Educational Leadership article and explains why schools need to articulate a clear vision for how new technology will improve student learning.  Check out a short article that poses questions that might help us think about the Apple initiative (and any other thing we are working on really …).  A quick, yet thoughtful read.
