Earth Week: Huge thanks to GIN students and their advisors for putting together a great Earth Week! Check these links for more information. To help a bit, here are all the links created for Earth Week:
- Earth Week Advisory Slides
- Activity/Points Sheet
- Earth Week Google Folder for Poster/Videos/Photos
- Earth Week Selfies Google Slides
Be sure to give a special thanks to these students for their work on this: Yoonji (grade 7), Nolan and Phuong Ngu (Grade 6)
Planning Calendar: The MS Planning Calendar is essential for keeping up with all the amazing activities that are coming up. This is where we highlight things found on all the different Google Calendars that affect instructional planning.
MAP UPDATE: Hang has created all the MAP testing sessions. The MAP testing schedule is the same as Fall. Though we will have an opportunity to check in on May 3rd at our divisional meeting, if you are a lead proctor, please check in on your testing sessions to make sure you are ready to go (link to testing accommodations and groups). Like with the WrAP, we will provide official testing lists to ensure that all are clear where students are going for their tests.
Grade 8 Promotion Update: We are trying to deal with a capacity issue in the Auditorium. It appears that we will not be able to fit the entire MS (215), MS faculty (25), and still have enough room for all parents and family who want to attend the Promotion (at just 2 per student that’s an additional 170 people. That puts us at 410 people – in a space that seats 350. So, we are likely to have to remove grade 6 from the event. Not happy about this … but not sure what else to do. Great minds out there … can you think of some additional options? If you do, please send to me and Mark C.
Where is Robert?: Robert is doing a great job balancing all of his new responsibilities. But we may find ourselves wondering if he is here or there. Please use the following calendar to figure out Where’s Robert (had to post the pic again, just tooooooo cute)
