Last Week Plans:  As usual, there is a lot going on this week.  It will take all of us to make it all happen and run smoothly.  Be sure to read all directions, email updates, and docs sent out by planners, organizers, and the like 🙂

Student Check Out:  Your role as an advisor is to help your advisees complete the check out procedure.  This means reminding them to take care of tasks listed in red on the check out form.  Hang will be sending this out Friday with the most updated information on it.

Splash Day:  Huge thanks to Rick Freil and Sanny Tran for organizing Splash Day this year.  Rick will be sending out directions – be sure to read through the document so that you are prepared for your part in the Extravaganza!  It will take all of us working together to make it a great afternoon.  Come prepared to get wet … sunscreen and water bottle are a must!

Master Schedule for 17-18: The master schedule for 17-18 is almost ready for review.  When I was getting it ready to post tonight, I found that there is a problem with the offerings in block 1 for grade 8.  So I have to look at it this weekend.  Grade level teams are set, and there are just a few changes being made for next year (made necessary by the coming year’s schedule).  Here are the grade level teams for next year:

Grade 6 (team prep Block B):  Stephen Ada, Ryan Butz, Rick Freil, Greg Jardin, Erin Johnson, Emily Wolf
Grade 7 (team prep Block A):  Natalie Beals, Gary Bertoia, Stacy Crowell, Erin Lu, Priscila Schoschet, Eric Schoonard, Kate Werner (Gr 7 is predicted to be the largest grade level next year; as such they have the “extra” person)
Grade 8 (team prep Block G): Brian Benck, Mark Crowell, Rebecca Jardin, Dawne Kaba, Andrea Khambalia, Vaughan Swart

Teacher Check Out:  Hang has (or will) share the teacher check out form.  This is where you track what you have left to do for check out.  These tasks need to be completed before you depart on Friday.
