Week Ahead: July 31
|Welcome back! Hang and I have been busy these past two week, along with our new faculty members, getting geared up and ready for your return. The office has been remodeled; the science labs have been remodeled; the aircon has been finished (and boy is it pumping out the cold air), the entry way to the school has been remodeled; the new coffee shop and school store are built and getting their final finishings.
I’m excited for us all to reconnect and to set the stage for our students to return. I have listed out the first few days of the Full Faculty In-Service schedule. One of the big pushes this year during inservice is CPR, First Aid and AED training. Please be sure to check the participants list to see what type of training you are scheduled for (most of us need the full training on Wednesday and Thursday). Any time that isn’t specified should be considered individual work time and/or time for you to schedule as you see fit.
On Friday, we get the chance to work together as an entire faculty and staff through an Amazing Race that will take us through PMH. After this most excellent event, we will gather together as an entire school family for food, fun, and laughs.

Things to be thinking about:
We are in need of a new StuCo Advisor for this year. This is a great opportunity to help build leadership skills in our students. This position will fulfill the ASA responsibility for the year.
We are in need of teachers to commit to running Study Zone for ASA. The hope is that we can provide a minimum of 1 day a week all year long; and 2 days a week any session possible.
