Week Ahead: Oct 23-27
|Thank you all so much for a great set of Parent Teacher Conferences. As you head into 2nd Quarter, let’s keep the positive momentum going! The trip has been productive so far. We’ve done some ERB planning and school visits – plus we were able to walk the Freedom Trail and fall in love with Boston. I look forward to sharing information with you all when I return.

Repeat Posting: Getting Ready for hosting: We are hosting the MS MRISA Basketball Tournament. This is going to be such a fun experience for all of the students. We are still working on the final details, but we have determined a few things. We will all be able to attend the Opening Ceremony which will be from 8-8:30; then we will return to a 4 block schedule (I’ll post the schedule soon).
- Goal of great sportsmanship; kindness to all; positive, peppy attitudes; great impression on how we run a tournament
- Expectation of participation for all at some level
- MS attendance at opening assembly to assist with building spirit (hopefully space will allow this)
- Role of StuCo and Spirit Club as well as special committees (working this out still)
- Guaranteed attendance at all games to create exciting atmosphere for all players (with ES and MS groups assigned to cheer for other teams)
- Visible signs of spirit and welcome
