What a great start to Project X!  As I watched today unfold, I was struck so many times by moments of just absolute pride and joy in the amazing colleagues that I get to work with every day.  You are truly an amazing group of people!

Duties in Project X:  During Project X, we still need to take care of lunch duties.  All other breaks this week will be at the discretion (and supervision) of the room teaching teams.  Please really attend to student needs for breaks 🙂 10 minutes out on the field and big toys can really help with focus in the long run.

Motivational Speaker:  An opportunity to have a motivational speaker for our students (who just happens to be a 3rd culture kid who talks about following your passions, leadership, and grit?  Only 1 million dong?  Why YES!  This last minute opportunity floated our way this week.  After checking in with the Leadership Team, we were able to book for Feb. 7.  Anita’s Mapit30K is a goal to speak to 30k students in 30 countries in 330 days.  Check out the website (click on Mapit30K) and watch the short (3 min) video.

Career Day (Gr 8) Date Change:  Please note that the HS has moved Career Day to April 12 (was originally scheduled April 11).  I have updated the Planning Calendar to reflect this (it is also corrected on the Google Calendar).
