Week Ahead: April 23-27

This week was another great reminder of the incredibly talented, flexible, and student-first faculty we have in our division.  Thank you all for the times you stepped in, covered, figured things out, made things better, and in general made sure everything flowed as smooth as possible for our students, colleagues, and parents.

All School Photo: Friday, April 27– We will be taking the all school photo on Friday morning, April 27 at 8:15 am.  The students will come to your first block (F) classroom at 8:00.  Take roll quickly then walk with your students to the front field by 8:10.  We hope to have you back in your classrooms by 8:30.  I apologize for the late notice.  The original date was in the Fall – and hadn’t been rescheduled.

Help Needed: There are several things that we are needing help with in the coming month.  Please let me know if you are willing to take on any of the following:

• Study Zone on Monday Apr. 23:  I am needing assistance in covering Study Zone on Monday from 3-4:00.
• Supervision at PE Dance Celebration on May 11:  We have 2 confirmed, but really need 2 more to help manage students backstage from 5:30-7:30.

CTP:  I am working out the final details for rooms and proctors for the CTP testing which starts May 3rd.  Please check for final details on the CTP Testing Plan.

Earth Week: Here is the Earth Week presentation.  Huge thanks to Kate for leading students in developing this event.  Be checking for emails from Kate to keep on top of the week’s events.

Another Hiring Update:  I forgot to mention last week that Gema Luque has accepted our full time Spanish position.  The last position to be hired will be the librarian position.  I am hoping to begin interviews for that position next week.
