Halloween Costume Competition: StuCo is sponsoring a costume competition for Halloween. We will use DEAR on Weds, Oct. 31 for the event. There are prizes for individual costumes and House League points to be won for the advisories with the highest percentage of participating students (and advisors count). Here are the guidelines for costumes:
Costume guidelines:
- Costumes should be school appropriate.
- Full face masks can only be worn during the StuCo costume contest (they cannot be worn at any other time)
- Should come dressed (no makeup, hairspray, etc. in the bathrooms and locker rooms)
- Costume shouldn’t be so distracting that it causes problems during the day.
- If accessories become problems or distractions during the day, teachers will hold on to them.
- If you are not sure, don’t wear it! Make sure your costumes are respectful and in good taste.
Parent Teacher Conferences: Congratulations of a very successful set of Parent Teacher Conferences. From our records, 82% of students attended, and teachers saw on average 70% of their students. If you want to see all the data, check out the PTC document.
Tripod Student Surveys: We will be giving student surveys starting November 12-23 designating 1 block per day for the survey. Each teacher will have at least 3 of their blocks take the survey for them. So some days you will be giving the survey and some you will not. Here is the list of blocks/courses that will be surveyed. For more information about the Tripod Survey and the data you will receive, please read through the Teacher Toolkit for Tripod.
