Congratulations to Liz Hendrickson and Khanh Tran for hosting a fantastic chess tournament which culminating in the inaugural use of the ginormo chess set.

This is the last week of prep before WWW.  Students are excited and some are nervous.  Let’s all work to make sure they feel prepared and ready for a great week ahead!

Planning the End of S1:  Now is the time to be using the consolidated assignment/assessment Google calendar that is pulled out of PSLearning.  As we end the semester, we want to ensure that we get the best out of our students.  This means we must manage the calendar.  As a grade level team, ensure that there are no more than 2 courses with things due or testing on each day.  Working together to balance it out is a great way to utilize our collaboration skills.

Support Upcoming Student Events – Let’s show our support:  Please put the MS Drama Production (Dec. 4) and MS Winter Concert (Dec. 13) on your calendars.  There are only 2 of these events a year for each Drama and Music.  If you can come, students would love to see you there.

Gearing Up for WWW:  These amazing trips are right around the corner.  Thank you to all team leads and members for working to make these trips the best they can be.  We will be reviewing last minute logistics and requirements this Wednesday.  In advance of this meeting, please review the MS Chaperone Guidelines.  Adherence to these guidelines will ensure a smooth and successful trip.  Please also download and activate the SOS app if you have a smart phone.
