EAL/LS Check Ins at Lunch:  Abby, Lili, and Ryan need to check in with core teachers on the EAL/LS students.  These meetings will be at lunch on Tuesday, Weds, and Friday.  Hang will be sending out a lunch order form today for those who need to attend.  Please complete the order on Friday.  She will make arrangements while we are at WWW.

Planning the End of S1:  Now is the time to be using the consolidated assignment/assessment Google calendar that is pulled out of PSLearning.  As we end the semester, we want to ensure that we get the best out of our students.  This means we must manage the calendar.  As a grade level team, ensure that there are no more than 2 courses with things due or testing on each day.  Working together to balance it out is a great way to utilize our collaboration skills.

End of Quarter/Semester:  It’s hard to believe that we are closing in on the end of 1st semester.  Here is a reminder of the grade/comment due dates.  You can always see these on the sidebar as well:

• December 13 – comments completed and peer reviewed (in S1 bin) and grades completed by 3:00; verification reports printed at 3:45
• December 14 – verification reviewed, signed (can be digital) and returned to office by 2:00

Cocktails and Cookies: Sunshine is bringing the division a fun and festive time to connect and celebrate first semester.  Come for a festive beverage and stay a bit to decorate some holiday cookies.  We’ll start our happy hour at 5:00 (and the location is still being determined).
