Presenting / Growing professionally while helping others grow: David Chadwell sent an email with three options for presenting in the near future.  Please consider:

SHARE WITH SSIS COLLEAGUES: On Saturday, April 20, SSIS will have its PD day as an In House Institute starting with a wellness hour and then multiple 60 minute sessions of teachers presenting to each other.
PRESENT A SESSION TO HCMC TEACHERS IN FALL 2019:
An additional opportunity to extend your audience will take place on November 15, 2019during the BE Together Saigon City-Wide PD Day.  We all participated in this event this year at Renaissance and AIS.  In 2019, SSIS will host the MS/HS group (ES location is pending.).  This was a very positive experience for most participants.   It is a great venue for stepping up and sharing ideas, insights, and practices to a larger audience.
LEAD A TWO-DAY EARCOS WEEKEND WORKSHOP DURING 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR (you must do option one and ideally option two if you are interested in option three or have presented at other recent conferences):  Each year, EARCOS supports numerous two day “weekend workshops.” (See the workshops from this year)  These workshops can include external consultants, but also support in-house teacher experts leading a two day workshop experience available to those from across the region.   Those considering this option should have several previous presentation experiences, theory and practice around their topic, and multiple activities to engage participants.  This would be an opportunity to build a cohort in your area of interest.  An honorarium is paid for weekend workshops.
For all options, use the link below for submissions (deadline is Friday, February 15 after Tet.)

Project X Days: Be sure to add Project X days to your planning calendars.  We will be on 1/2 day schedules on Monday and Tuesday, March 18 and 19 (we will use early release schedule and have Project X in the afternoon); Wednesday, March 20 we will have a special schedule that will be the same one used for author assemblies (1 hr first thing for Project X, classes the rest of the day); all Project X for week of March 25-29.
