The ides of March 🙂 Well, we are well into them.  Here come the big ones with SLC, Project X, and then a great week of rest (Spring Break).

Friday Schedule – March 15:  Here is the schedule we will follow on Friday for International Day. Also please encourage students to wear national dress or colors that represent their national colors.

• 9:20-9:30  Break

• 12:20-12:55   Lunch
• 1:00-2:20   Block B
• 2:20-3:00   Fashion Show (teachers take block B

On this day, about 30 grade 7 students will be off timetable from 8-1:00 doing activities in the cultural booths.  This is the list of students here.

From 11-12:00 MS students can go through the booths.   So far we have room for 4 more classes to visit should you want to take your class.  Please complete the form if you want your class to attend.

At 2:20 please head to the HS gym for a 2:30 Fashion Show start time.  I am not exactly sure how they will have it set up, but I am sure that they will clarify once we arrive.  Once the fashion show is over, we can allow the students to depart for the weekend.

Please encourage students to dress in national dress or national colors for Friday.  If they chose not to participate, they must wear their uniform.

Heart Says Free Move Event:  Here is what information has been shared with the students participating in the event.

• The wheelchairs are located in Middle School office so grab and ride them as soon as you arrive at school!
• You must be on the wheelchair for the whole day
• You must follow the CODE OF CONDUCT (Code of Conduct)
• All the teachers are going to be aware that you are participating in this event
• You have to talk to the teacher about tardy, PE if they are not aware of it, because you will be responsible for yourselves.
• Remember that the main idea of this event is for you all to experience the difficulties that people with disabilities go through in their daily lives.
• At the end of school, there will be hsfm members from high school, will be waiting for you to be interviewed so come to middle school office right after your last class ends.
