Week Ahead: Aug 5-9

What a great start to the year.  Thank you for all the hard work you have done to get us set for the first days of school.  As we get ready to greet our students and parents, let’s keep in mind their excitement and nervousness.  One group we really want to look out for is our new students.  For those of you with new students in your advisory, we are working on pairing them up with a buddy student.  If for some reason, the buddy isn’t actually back yet, please ask another student to assist.  Another important time to support our new students is the block before lunch.  Please make sure new students have a buddy to help them in the cafeteria.  With all of working together, we can help smooth out the first stressful days of a new school.

Hanging Things:  Please note that Chris Beanes, Facilities Manager, has asked that we use sticky tack when hanging things on the walls.  In addition, please note that we cannot hang anything on the painted hallway walls.  Not even with sticky tack.  Everything pulls the paint off.  Even if it comes off clean one time, don’t be fooled.  Humidity makes it all risky.  Please use bulletin boards, doors, and windows.

Copy Center:  David Perkins sent a reminder about how to use the copy center.  All of that information is on the Link.  Here is the link (to the Link … I couldn’t resist).  Copy Center Guidelines
