Grade 7 Field Trip: On Friday, November 29th (HEFG) all 7th grade students will be on a Social Studies field trip from 8:30am-12:00pm. We will be visiting a Phap Vo Buddhist Temple and Thuan Phat Catholic Church as a culmination of our Semester 1 study of world religions.
Students will report to their H block for attendance and should then be released at 8:10am to drop off items in their lockers. Students need to be to the plaza by 8:20am and all they need is a water bottle–please remind students to leave their backpacks and phones in their lockers.

Grade Reporting for Quarter 2 / Semester 1:  We are closing in on the end of first semester.  Please keep in mind the following dates.

December 11 – comments completed and peer reviewed (in S1 bin) and grades completed by 3:00; verification reports printed at 3:45

December 12 – verification reviewed, signed (can be digital) and returned to office by 2:00; report cards sent home to parents

Kindness Rocks: On November 21 our High School students will be participating in the Kindness Rocks Project. We want to share words of inspiration and kindness with all of our SSIS community. Between November 21-25 you will see colorful rocks placed at various locations around the campus. We ask that you keep the rocks where you see them and admire the messages our HS students want to share. Each day, we have opportunities to share kindness with family, friends and strangers. We ask you all, how can you help make our world a kinder place each day?

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” -Princess Diana

Remember all, KINDNESS ROCKS!

Regards,
High School Students, Faculty and Staff

From Marketing: I (George) have received feedback that it would be helpful to share our design guides for those who are willing and able to put together their own designs for internal projects. Attached is our brand guide cheat sheet and more information can be found on the link here: https://link.ssis.edu.vn/tiki-index.php?page=Brand+Identity+Guidelines&structure=Main+Navigation. Please reach out to our team whenever you have additional questions.
