Week Ahead: Aug. 31 – Sept. 4

Another stellar week! Curriculum Night was a grand success. Over 100 families joined the kick off – and then proceeded to watch your fabulous videos. So far we have around 20 questions submitted to the google form – and I expect a few more over the weekend as more parents view the videos. Thank you all for the work you put into helping parents better understand you and the courses you teach.

School Photos:  It’s the time honored tradition of school photos! Students AND staff get their photos taken. Students must wear collared uniform shirts; faculty must wear professional attire. One issue of note: if you are taking your class on Tuesday – they must wear a uniform shirt. However, it is free dress day for students. We will do our best to remind students to bring a uniform shirt to pull on for the picture (they can take it off right after the photo is taken).

Early Dismissal on Tuesday: We will have an early dismissal day on Tuesday, Sept. 1. We will meet in the MS library and will be focusing on identification of power standards. We will do this first at the course and divisional department level. We will follow up this work on our next PD day (Sept. 18) in larger vertical teams.
