21st Century Learning Conference: Free access to Jan. 18-30 Conference: We have arranged for all faculty, staff, teaching assistants, and administrators to have full access to the upcoming 21st Century Learning International Conference, January 18-30.  This is an outstanding conference normally and they have put together a very impressive virtual conference this year.  There is something for everyone.  Thanks to Ceci for advocating!
Link to 21stCenturyWebsiteYou have been registered already.  Please see the information below for the multiple ways you can access and how to log-in.   PDF of the same information is also below.  I’ll send a form out next week to see if people want to connect across sessions or themes.  Enjoy!  David

Accessing 21CLHK Online Platform: You can access the 21CLHK Online conference using your computer browser or via the conference app on your mobile device.  You can access the download links for the conference app here. You can also scan this QR code on your mobile device to install the event app

Laptop Browser Access: Use this link and click on Web Browser to access the conference on your computer browser. Note: for the best experience we recommend using Chrome.

Username and Password: The first time you go to the platform, whether on a browser or via the mobile App, you will be asked to enter your email address and to create your own personal password. You must use your school email address for this step and keep a note of your password for subsequent access to the conference.

Single Sign On (SSO): You can also log in using your Google, MS, or Apple email account but please ensure you are using the same school email address. You will use the same username and password whether you are logging in via a computer browser or the mobile app.

Browsing Keynotes, Workshops, and Presentations: There is an enormous range of content available and we hope you will enjoy the event. Before the event starts you can see all of the keynote speakers and presenters and details of their presentations. You can also see events by day or by topic to help you choose which sessions you would like to attend. These are accessible via the conference app via “Agenda” and also on the public website.  There are also powerful filtering tools to help you find topics of interest. When you find a session of interest, you can add it to your favorites and also add it to your calendar if you wish.

A Social Conference: There are also networking spaces on the platform where you can easily meet and chat (using video and audio) with friends, colleagues, or contacts from other schools. Or even just hang out and chat with other attendees. Just the same as at a F2F conference in fact. And on Wednesday 20 January 2021 from 18:00 onwards, you can join a fun conference virtual social event hosted by Ben Sheridan and Ben Thompson. The event will share the joy of being together again, no matter whether physically or virtually, as you meet old friends and make new friends.

On Friday 29 January 2021 from 18:00 – 19:00 (+8GMT – Hong Kong Time), you can join PUBPD hosted by the dynamic and irrepressible Carlos Galvez.

#PubPDAsia Is a hybrid face to face and virtual networking and learning event designed to get educators out to pubs, as well as online, to discuss the trending topics in education that are relevant to teachers’ lives and practice. Topics will be chosen based on key questions driven by leading keynotes and speakers from the conference. Face to face events are subject to prevailing social distancing guidelines at the time

Building Your Personal Agenda: The Event Platform allows you to construct your own personal event agenda by simply clicking + beside any presentation that looks interesting. You can read more details about personalizing your conference experience, including setting reminders, etc here

Enjoy the conference!
