Week Ahead: Oct. 4-8

It’s hard to believe that we are closing out the first quarter of the 21-22 school year.  It is with great hope that we continue to see signs of improvement moving us closer to the possibility of having students on campus during Quarter 2.  As I worked from campus this week, I was so pleased to see the fantastic work of the custodial, maintenance and grounds crews in getting things back to working order.  The grounds are gorgeous.  The building has been sealed and the air purifying HVAC system was installed and is working.  The new furniture we purchased for the new 4th floor classrooms has arrive and been placed in the rooms.  Though we have construction projects yet to be completed (the locker rooms, nurses office), the sites have been cleaned up and blocked from students.  Some of the master overseas order have been delivered to classrooms and others are in the staff room ready for pick up.  Now that it’s possible to come on campus if you want,  rest assured it’s clean, orderly, and ready for us.

New from Daniel:  The Schoology Gradebook is now visible to parents in the same manner that it is for students. Parents will see a list of assignments and raw grades and comments if teachers use the Schoology assessment tool.  Please direct the students and parents to your course gradebook to find assignments in your course.
