|“I came in like a wrecking ball …” says Omicron to VN ?
So numbers continue to rise here in HCMC and in our community. MS has 5 impacted teachers (F0 or F1). I am so appreciative of all of you who have already pitched in, offered support in so many ways. Once again, as a team, we will get through this. As we do, please make sure you are communicating your needs to me, Roxanne, Daniel and/or your team leads. Only when we know, can we help.

F1 Contact Tracing, Subs, Internal Coverage Info: Thank you to those that have already done this … and thank you to those that will in the coming weeks 🙂 We are doing our best to keep track of who is out and when they can return. Here is the MS Virtual Tracker that shows the groups of students and teachers who are out and when they might return.
Across the divisions, there are many faculty out. This means all available subs are currently booked. We will be seeking internal coverage for times when we do not have subs available. We will seek to spread this out across all teachers and to only ask if the teacher has 2 preps on that day. We will also be pulling from all faculty like me, Roxanne, Daniel, Curriculum Dept., etc.
In preparation for more of this, please document your seating chart or student groupings. I also recommend that you stick with the same groups rather than regrouping students over the next few weeks. This will help make contact tracing easier as well as reduce the number of students who might be exposed. You can do this however you like. If you want an option within PowerTeacher, Daniel created a video to show you how you can do this with a drag and drop feature in PowerTeacher.
Leading the Shift to Blended Learning: Dr. Catlin Tucker was the keynote presenter for this weekend’s Vietnam Tech Conference. Her message is timely and is worth watching as we work through our concurrent learning environment.
