WASC Visit:  It’s finally here!  Be sure to check dates/times for your committee meeting with WASC; and the 3:15 meeting on Thursday.  During morning announcements please make sure to explain to our students that a team will be visiting, observing classes and activities, and chatting with as many community members and students as they can.

SLCs:  This is also the final push to get our students ready for SLCs.  Many of our students will be nervous to have such a serious, focused conversation about their learning with their parents.  They will need our support and encouragement; and for us to ensure that they are as prepared as possible.  Thank you for all the work you have done so far, and for the work you will do this week.    I will prepare sets of materials for each advisor (agendas, parents guides, compliment/goal sheets).  These will be put in your box by Wednesday.
Reminders for advisors:  Only hand out comment sheets at the end of the SLC once students have gone through all their artifacts/demos; please take a photo of each family (can be posed or action); collect compliments and a goal sheet.
