Halloween Dress Up:  Please be sure that you are ready for Tuesday and are actively assisting with the event.  From Stacy –  StuCo is planning a costume contest for Halloween day.  It is not an advisory day, just a DEAR day, but Molly has give us permission to go ahead so that it can happen on the 31st.  I think we can make it happen in 15-20 minutes if we can all get our groups to the gym quickly.

Halloween Costume Contest:

1. StuCo and Spirit Club will meet and eat in the fishbowl to get the candy ready.
2. Advisories will meet in the gym right at 1:15.  Students who are dressed up will go to the front and all non-dressed students will sit in their normal house spots.
3. StuCo Reps and Spirit Club will hand out candy to all people who are dressed up.
4. At the same time, judges will walk around among those dressed up and can give out 3 stickers each to costume that they like. (StuCo members are eligible for the contest also.)
5. Those with stickers stay; everyone else sits down.
6. Judges will discuss & choose the top winners:
   1. Scariest
   2. Funniest
   3. Most Creative
   4. Best Overall Costume
7. Each of the winners gets candy to share with their advisory. The best overall winner’s advisory gets the ‘best’ candy AND HL points.  (If winners are a pair or small group dressed up together, they can share the prize).

• Costumes should be school appropriate.
• Full face masks can only be worn during the StuCo costume contest (they cannot be worn at any other time)
• Should come dressed (no makeup, hairspray, etc. in the bathrooms and locker rooms) ​​
• Costume shouldn’t be so distracting that it causes problems during the day.
• If accessories become problems or distractions during the day, teachers will hold on to them.
• If you are not sure, don’t wear it!  Make sure your costumes are respectful and in good taste.

SISAC Tournaments: Lots of them this week!  Be sure to take a look at who will be missing your classes.  Students are expected to make up their work – but they definitely need support for this.  Please be very clear what work is being done on each day as well as when that work is due.  On Thursday, the Girls B Team has games at 1 and 2.  I’m hoping that we can have lots of fans in the gym supporting them.  But we can’t fit everyone in during Advisory.  Please email me if you would like to take your advisory / class to watch.
