Week Ahead: April 9-13
|It’s been another great week! As we head into this next week, we will be celebrating SSIS’s 20th anniversary. There are two main activities – the assembly on Friday and the gala on Saturday. I hope that you are all able to take part in at least one of these activities. To borrow a sentiment from Jacob Hendrickson – Anniversaries provide people the opportunity to reflect on the past and look to the future. Take the opportunity to reflect this week on your experiences at SSIS and the contributions you have made. Thank you so much your work in making SSIS such a special place.

Author Visit On Monday: We are pleased to have artists in residence Laura Stringer and Ruby Smith with us this coming week. I’d like to make sure that we address a few student behavioral issues that have been creeping up. To help support this, please ensure that students come to the auditorium with NO belongings (including water bottles). Before you take your advisory to the auditorium, remind them of appropriate audience behavior including body language. Finally, please sit with your advisory students in the auditorium and ensure that student seating choices support making good choices.
