Final Hire Complete:  I pleased to report that we have hired the final position for MS – the .5 library position.  Please be sure to pass along a MS welcome to Liz Hendrickson who is taking a break from ES to join the world of MS!

18-19 Leadership Team:  Congratulations to the newest MS Leadership Team members.  Ryan Butz will be serving as the At-Large Representative.  Abigail Morgan will be serving as the Gr 8 Team Lead.  We are very pleased about the leadership that these two will bring to the division.

CTP Testing: Only 1 more to go.  Be sure to check the CTP document for schedule and other important information.  Here is information specific to the math tests:

• Mathematics subtest contains two parts, Part 1 & Part 2.  When creating the test session, Select “Mathematics” from the subject drop-down menu and the correct part will automatically be delivered.  Please name the test session:

  1. Students use the same session number to log in to both Parts if they take them on the same day.
     
  2. Calculators are in your proctoring room.
  3. Calculator use is permitted for students taking Level 5-10 Mathematics Part 2 only. Students should only use a calculator if they are familiar with it and use it with some frequency in class. They may not use:
• • pocket organizers
  • hand-held and laptop computers
  • electronic writing pads
    
  • pen-input devices.
