Announcements in 1st Block: Now that we are not having advisory every day, it is very important for us to review the announcements each morning in first block. You can access announcements through PowerSchool Learning; and here is the link as a shortcut: Daily Announcements.
New Family Check In’s: We are working to schedule meetings with all new families. This is an amazing effort that will involve all of us – and is an important part of ensuring that all new students and families feel supported in their transition process. Bonnie and Hang will be working to schedule these so that in each meeting we will have admin, counseling, and at least 1-2 teachers. We will attempt in include all faculty members in an even distribution. We will post all meetings. If you are interested in attending additional meetings, just let Bonnie and/or Hang know. With over 40 new students, this is a big task, but an important one. Thank you for supporting this!
Emailing Parents as a Group: Just a friendly reminder to use the BCC when emailing groups of parents. This is just to prevent the “reply all” scenario. If you email the group as BCC, it stops parents from hitting reply all and inadvertently emailing all parents back. If you have questions about how to access parent emails, please see David Rynne.
Check out Artsonia: Student online art is up an running. Check out Artsonia. This is a site where our students upload their artworks. It’s an amazing compilation of work. And a place where we can give student’s a bit of positive feedback on their work. Take a look!
