Week Ahead: April 8-12

Spring Break is a great time to refresh and rejuvenate.  I hope that the week brought all that and more for you.  With the conclusion of an incredibly successful Project X, there was even more to celebrate (and recuperate from).

I did realize today that the blog post for Project X week never made it out of draft form.  I’ve posted it now … and realize that there was information in there that was fairly vital regarding CTP testing.  I’m sorry for the delay in the sharing of this information.

Special Schedule April 9:

CTP Testing:  We are coming up on CTP testing.  You will see a variety of CTP events in the Upcoming Events section above.  All of these will happen during DEAR.  You can see the full CTP Testing Plan HERE.  I am still working out some proctor situations and will have it completed ASAP.  We have reworked the testing time from last year and reduced it by 25 minutes.  This was done by removing the redundant practice tests before each subtest.

On April 9 Gr 6 and on April 10 Gr 7 will be loading the CTP browser onto their computers.  This will be done during DEAR in the Library.  Advisors, please meet your advisees in the library.

On April 12 Gr 6 and 7 advisors will be running the CTP Intro and Tutorial with their advisees during DEAR time.   We are working on a presentation to share.  We will review this at the divisional meeting on Wednesday.

If you want a head start on training, you can watch the CTP training for administrators video. It’s the 2nd one down.  Please note that we administer the CTP Online (NOT the CTP 4 or 5).  You can also read the Test Administration Manual for 18-19.  This includes the test administration script.  This will be reviewed at the April 10 Divisional Mtg.  Information is also going to be shared through this slideshow.
