Correction to Daily Schedule: Thank you to faculty who found the overlap in recess within the daily schedule. This has been fixed. In making the fix, we also shifted a bit of time to give more time in last block (to support staggered departure and locker time). Please review the schedule on tab 1 (Schedule 3.2.2). Roxanne will be splitting G7 and G8 advisories between the lunches as evenly as possible. These groupings will be changed each quarter to ensure that students get opportunities to be with others in their grade level. All of G6 will be in first lunch.
Orientation Day: Our first day with students is a fantastic opportunity to set a positive, productive start to the year. It has also been a time when we have built connections with parents. As parents are still not allowed on campus, we are asking all advisors to make a 1 minute video introducing yourself to the parents of your advisees. Roxanne will be sharing a script on Monday.
The overall schedule for orientation is:
12:30-1 New Students – Tech Time with David Rynne
1-3:00 Students on Campus.
The contents of orientation will be reviewed on Monday during our divisional meeting.
Remote students will be joining in with part of the orientation to meet other students in their advisories (provided they are in a time zone that will work). They will also have a separate orientation session online meeting.
