What a week ahead! Giving thanks is on the mind of our American colleagues as they/we get prepared to celebrate Thanksgiving. In the spirit of giving thanks, please share your appreciations to Ryan, Natalie, Abby, and Hang for all the work they have put in to setting up WWW. As we get the final logistics put in place, I want to thank you all for the work you have put in, are putting in, will put in … to make this an amazing experience for our students. Thank you for bringing a bit of wonderful into what has been a very difficult year.

Budget / Ordering:  An update from the business office on vendors that are available: Due to the effect of Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to draw your attention to the consolidation process and shipment lead time. Items bought in the U.S will possibly be more difficult to sort and send to Vietnam. Therefore, please be aware of potential shipment delays and reserve additional 4-6 weeks lead time compared to our normal ordering process, the shipping time may extend to 26 weeks from door to door, following our ordering timeline, 26 weeks lead time will bring us to mid September.

Alternatively, some Australian brands (MTA, Zart Arts, Hart Sport) are recommended by our consolidator to replace School Speciality, Dick Blick, Gopher during this period. It is encouraged that your Divisional order be split between U.S and Australian brands to save the processing time, we estimate shipping from Australia will be here before the school year.  Timeline & Vendor list Please really check prices when looking at vendors.

Advisory: Message from Roxanne – Through the end of the semester, advisory lessons continue to focus on KNOWING THYSELF in different ways and in different contexts. Wherever appropriate, please continue to make connections to previous lessons, the character strengths and the SSIS Core Values. Mon.Nov. 30	Knowing Myself as a Learner Part 2–	Students reflect on last week’s learning style quiz results and then choose how to visually represent it. Keeping their learning style in mind, students have the option to revisit their SMART goals or create new ones.
Thurs.Dec. 3	Knowing Thyself as a Global Citizen Part 1 –	This lesson is part one of a 2-day lesson in which students explore their biases and the impact on  their choices. Some of the videos in this lesson are clips from longer videos. Watching the entire video will support your facilitation of this lesson.
