Another very successful start to Virtual School. It’s so impressive to see what you are all able to accomplish. I loved walking in to Ryan B’s classroom to see his waving kitty welcoming students this morning. Thank you all for the effort, flexibility, and determination you show every day.

G6 and G7 Advisors Only (5 minutes): Today is voting for the HL Shirt Competition! Here’s how it works. 1) View your house’s slideshow with your advisory (Please stay in present mode as artist names are in the note section). 2) On the voting slide, click the link and complete it together with your advisory. Welcome to Dương Nguyen: We are so excited to welcome Dương Nguyễn to be our new office assistance. Dương will join Thao in the office starting next Wednesday. Be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.

Star Screener:  Newest revised plan – We will be giving the Star screener on Wednesday as a part of advisory. All students will take the reading screener. Abby has produced a slideshow to help the students know what to do and to guide you through it too. I will have a training session on Tuesday at 1:00 in the library.

Schoology Course:  Congratulations to the following faculty who have completed the intro to Schoology course. A small thank you treat is in your box: Brian Benck, Gary Bertoia, Claire Elam, Rebecca Jardin, Craig Morris, Ryan Pool, Jacob Scott, Lisa Swiercinsky.

Advisory Update: From Roxanne – Due to our launch of Virtual School and the limited advisory session left for you to be with your students, we have discontinued the service learning unit. During our Wednesday May 19 assembly, we will take a few minutes to acknowledge the value of what they did and how service learning connects to positive accomplishment and well-being. To further connect to the idea of positive accomplishment, we are hoping to share any projects your students have completed to celebrate. If you have something to share, please let Roxanne know,
