F1 Contact Tracing, Subs, Internal Coverage Info:  Thank you to those that have already done this … and thank you to those that will in the coming weeks 🙂  We are doing our best to keep track of who is out and when they can return.  Here is the MS Virtual Tracker that shows the groups of students and teachers who are out and when they might return.

Across the divisions, there are many faculty out.  This means all available subs are currently booked.  We will be seeking internal coverage for times when we do not have subs available.  We will seek to spread this out across all teachers and to only ask if the teacher has 2 preps on that day.  We will also be pulling from all faculty like me, Roxanne, Daniel, Curriculum Dept., etc.

In preparation for more of this, please document your seating chart or student groupings.  I also recommend that you stick with the same groups rather than regrouping students over the next few weeks.  This will help make contact tracing easier as well as reduce the number of students who might be exposed.  You can do this however you like.  If you want an option within PowerTeacher, Daniel created a video to show you how you can do this with a drag and drop feature in PowerTeacher.

Academic Concern Updates – Many of you received an email from Roxanne last Monday about students in your class(es) who were placed on Academic Concern due to their S1 grade(s).   If you have not already done so, please be sure to email the parents by 3:00PM  Monday 2/28/2022. Original email text here.
Advisory and Dragon Time: The use of the 1:05-1:35 Advisory/Dragon Time block is set through spring break. See below or here.  Links to advisory lessons will be added to this doc and will also be shared with your team’s PDL (Personal Development Lead).
Please note our next advisory unit: Choices & Consequences, launches Monday w/an assembly with David Bott! ZOOM LINK HERE as well as on the MS Parent/Student google calendar
USB-C To MagSafe 2 cable:  Apple transitioned their laptop chargers from the old MagSafe 2 to USB -C.  As your old personal laptop chargers with MagSafe 2 connection start to die, you can now buy a cable that works with your school-issued usb-c laptop charger.  You can buy these cables at Future World if you want an Apple-certified cable or you can purchase from a third-party manufacturer on Lazada.
